Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at store@spacefoundation.org. Please include pictures of the product (if damaged) and a description as to the reason for wanting a return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Return shipping is not covered by the Space Foundation. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

For the security of your return, we suggest shipping it by USPS and keep your tracking number to ensure it reaches our facility. 

Please keep in mind that once your return arrives, it may take up to 14 days to process. 

Items may also be returned in-person to the Space Foundation Discovery Center (SFDC) during normal operating hours. Please ensure you have your receipt or proof of purchase ready to show as SFDC staff will not be able to locate your specific order in the system. Please visit www.discoverspace.org for information on operating hours.

Please note the Space Foundation Discovery Center is not responsible for packages lost, misplaced, moved, or stolen after the tracking information updates to show successful delivery and refunds are not available under these circumstances.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please send us an email at store@spacefoundation.org to start the returns process.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food or candy, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders, curated mystery boxes, or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products or face masks). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale/clearance items or gift cards.


Exchanges
There are no exchanges available for online purchases.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Payments

We accept payments via credit card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Elo), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Returns will be refunded to the original payment method.
